Jurgen Klopp angry with horror tackle on Mamadou Sakho

Published 1 Comments

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted he was left angry by Jeremain Lens’ tackle on Mamadou Sakho during last night’s 1-0 win over Sunderland. Lens clashed with Sakho in the 85th minute of the match, earning himself a booking, but Klopp believes he got off lightly. The German said post-match that he deemed the foul a red card offense, with staff from both sides clashing on the sidelines in the immediate aftermath of the incident. Meanwhile, Jamie Carragher has responded to criticism from former teammate El Hadji-Diouf after the Egyptian called him a turkey who was useless. Carragher tweeted in jest to say the insult was better than being called a donkey, which apparently plenty of people have described him as before.
