Liverpool and Tottenham are interested in securing the signature of Granada striker Adalberto Penaranda.
This has been reported by The Sun, who claim that both clubs are set to battle it out for the record-breaking striker.
Penaranda became the youngest player in the club's history when he starred against Athletic Bilbao in November while he broke Lionel Messi's record to become the youngest foreigner to score a brace in La Liga last month.

The 18-year-old, then, is recognised as one of the most exciting young players in Spain's elite division, but it remains to be seen as to whether the Premier League big boys step up their interest in him in the near future.
With four goals in seven games, including the winner against Sevilla on Sunday, Penaranda's rise to prominence has been quick to say the least, but a move at this stage would come as a surprise.
Liverpool and Spurs in need
Liverpool and Tottenham are in need of striker reinforcements this month.
Liverpool, who currently sit in eighth position in the Premier League table, have had their problems in attack throughout the course of the campaign. Summer signing Christian Benteke has had an inconsistent period while England international Daniel Sturridge has once again failed to maintain his fitness.
Tottenham, on the other hand, have limited options in attack. Harry Kane may well be one of the most revered strikers in the Premier League, but the north London outfit could do with more firepower as they go in search of establishing themselves in the top four of the Premier League.
