Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos were reportedly caught on camera having a heated argument about the Portuguese's reluctance to track back and help his team-mates defend.
The argument occurred during Reak Madrid's 2-2 draw against Valencia on Sunday evening, a result which may well have been the final straw for Rafa Benitez, with strong suggestions from Spanish media that he has been sacked.
But the problems at the Bernabeu stretch further than Benitez's failure to win over the players. It appears there is plenty of tension between the players themselves.

Television cameras caught the argument, but until Spanish TV station Cuatro commissioned a lip reader to decode the conversation, we could only guess what they were talking about.
Now we know.
Apparently, Ramos starts the conversation by telling Ronaldo that he should have cleared the ball out of play rather than playing it into the middle of the pitch. Ronaldo does not take this well.
The three-time Ballon d'Or winner replies: QWe need to play harder and faster…..we’re just watching!"
Ramos then says: "Yeah, you’re watching us!. There’s three of you just standing up there!."

Of course, the Spanish defender was referring to Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Karim Benzema or 'BBC' as some lazy people like to refer to them.
None of them like tracking back and Ramos appears to be suggesting that it is to the detriment of the team. And it wasn't the only visible sign of frustration from a Real Madrid player on that fateful evening.
After being substituted, Benzema appeared to throw something of a hissy fit.
