Looks like the one-match ban against Manchester United worked wonders for Diego Costa who returned with a bang.

Chelsea recorded their first win under new manager Guus Hiddink as the Blues’ resurgence continued with a 3-0 win at Crystal Palace.

Oscar gave the Blues the lead in the first half (with an assist from Costa) before Willian and Costa put them out of sight to complete arguably the champions’ best performance of the season.

Could there could be a new partnership on the cards?

With Palace having lost only once in their previous nine games to sit fifth, Chelsea, who have been hovering around the relegation zone, had a tough challenge on their hands.

But with Costa back in form, things looked bright for them at Selhurst Park
