Marshawn Lynch could make Seattle Seahawks return in playoff opener

Published 1 Comments

Seattle Seahawks running-back Marshawn Lynch is expected to be back in the starting lineup for the clash against the Minnesota Vikings this weekend, if all goes well in practise. Reports state that Lynch, who had abdominal surgery on November 25, should return for the opening game of the playoffs, with Peter Carroll merely puzzling ‘we’ll see’. The Seahawks have won six of seven games since losing him, but his return will be a boost nonetheless. Moving on, Tom Coughlin has confirmed that just because he’s done with the New York Giants doesn’t mean he’s necessarily done with football altogether. The veteran coach alluded to the idea he might take another coaching job, but refused to admit he definitely wouldn’t be retiring.
