Lionel Messi has just bagged his second goal in Barcelona's Copa del Rey match against Espanyol - and it is an absolute beauty.

Messi, who now has 15 goals in 20 appearances this season and is the favourite to scoop a record fifth Ballon d'Or this later this month, was held in check when Barcelona met Espanyol in La Liga over the weekend, however the Catalan club's rivals have been unable to repeat the trick this evening.

Luis Enrique's side are well on their way to defending their Copa del Rey crown, which they won as part of a historic treble this season, ahead of the second leg next week.
