Eden Hazard has told close friends that he will leave Chelsea at the end of the season.
This is according to the Daily Mail, who understand the out-of-sorts Belgium international has decided to quit Stamford Bridge but will not be sold this month.
Hazard has been below-par from the very beginning of the 2015-16 campaign but the 24-year-old’s poor performances are unlikely to deter either Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain from battling for his signature. Bayern Munich, who will be managed by Carlo Ancelotti from the start of next season, could also enter the race for last season’s Premier League Player of the Year.

Hazard, according to a ‘club insider’, made up his mind to leave the Blues after his relationship with Jose Mourinho broke down earlier this season.
'In his head he has already left,’ the insider told the Daily Mail. ‘It would take some U-turn to keep him.'
Hazard has been desperately poor this season
That Chelsea are unlikely to qualify for next season’s Champions League campaign may have further reinforced Hazard’s decision to leave his current employers at the end of the season.
However, one of the reasons for Chelsea’s poor form this season has been due to Hazard’s failure to inspire his team.
The former Lille star has failed to score a single Premier League goal in 19 appearances this season for Chelsea, who remain firmly in the bottom half of the table despite a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace last weekend.
Zidane wants to sign Hazard
It was revealed earlier this week that the newly-appointed Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane has made Hazard, a player he admires greatly, as his number one transfer target.
But it would take a world-record bid for any interested club to sign Hazard, who Chelsea value to be worth a cool £90 million.
