Liverpool defender Kolo Toure has revealed that he doesn't know whether he will be at the club next season.
As reported by The Sun, the Ivorian centre-back, who has failed to hold down a regular place in the Liverpool team under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp, has also admitted that he would like to stay in the Premier League ahead of the 2016/17 season.
In fact, after putting in an impressive performance in the Capital One Cup semi-final first-leg clash against Stoke City on Tuesday, Toure has joked that he could even move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The veteran defender stated: “If I can play like that then maybe I will go to Real Madrid!
“I don’t know what I’ll do at the end of this season but I’d like to stay in the Premier League.
“My kids are here and it is difficult to move. I am loving every day but God knows where I will be in a year’s time.
“But I hope it’s playing football because I love it.”
Toure on the way out
It's extremely unlikely that Toure will stay on in Merseyside past this season. Ultimately, at 34, the former Arsenal man is approaching the end of his career and Klopp should change the dynamic of his squad in the summer transfer window.
But Toure could still have an important role to play over the coming months. Klopp has a dilemma on his hands right now with a number of his defenders out on the sidelines.
Perhaps, then, Toure's experience will prove to be crucial as the Reds go in search of climbing the Premier League table.
Klopp must add to his squad
Klopp will be well aware, however, that he has to add to the Liverpool ranks in this transfer window. A defender must be the priority, of course, but the charismatic coach should also look to add to his squad elsewhere in pursuit of both short and long-term success.
If Liverpool are serious about securing a place in the top four this season, then the club's hierarchy are going to have to splash the cash sooner rather than later.
