WWE round-up: John Cena to miss WrestleMania 32 after shoulder surgery

Published 1 Comments

He’s not long been back from his sabbatical, but John Cena has confirmed he’s set for another lengthy absence from the WWE. The reason? Shoulder surgery that will be taking place today in Birmingham, Alabama. Apparently, Cena is suffering from a torn rotator cuff and so must go under the knife, though that means he won’t feature at WrestleMania 32, where he was initially scheduled to face The Undertaker. We’ll have more information as we get it, but don’t expect to see Cena anytime soon. Meanwhile, Japanese wrestler Shinsuke Nakamura has confirmed that he’s heading to the WWE, where he hopes to reach new heights. A report in Japan’s Tokyo Sports publication said Nakamura will move companies later this month when his contract expires.
