The January transfer window is yet to really take off, but it appears that Manchester United could add to their squad over the coming weeks.
Unsurprisingly, following the dismissal of Rafa Benitez as Real Madrid boss, Gareth Bale has once again been linked with a move to the Red Devils.
In fact, it has been claimed that the Welsh wizard, who joined the Spanish giants in the summer of 2013, was left unhappy by the departure of Benitez.

But will Manchester United really make their move this month? Well, Bale's former manager, Harry Redknapp, believes a deal really is possible.
In fact, he has suggested that the signing of Bale would hand Louis van Gaal's side a chance of securing the Premier League title this season.

Redknapp comments on Bale
Here's what he said in his Evening Standard column:
"Gareth Bale leaving Real Madrid for Manchester United could happen. I just get a feeling that somebody over here is driving that move. It keeps coming up and it wouldn’t surprise me, given he’s never truly settled there and can’t speak the language very well.
"Gareth is very much a home boy in my experience. And it would be great to have him back in England because he is such a fantastic player, capable of anything, who gets people up off their seats.
"English football has lost a few of those to Spain in recent years and La Liga has so many of the world’s top stars, our League would be better for it if he came back.
"If he went to United this month, they would suddenly have a realistic chance of winning the title because he could go there and score 15 goals in the second half of the season. There aren’t many players in the world who can have that kind of impact but Gareth is one of them.
"United, Chelsea and Manchester City would all take him in a heartbeat I’m sure. I don’t know if he will come back but the United move makes a lot of sense — and all that talk has to be coming from somewhere."
United fans certainly won't be getting their hopes up on a deal for Bale at this stage. He'd make a terrific signing, of course, but the club's hierarchy are going to have to work extremely hard to pull off what would be the signing of the transfer window.
If a deal for Bale isn't possible, then who should the Red Devils target? Southampton's Sadio Mane would change the dynamic of the side, but is he really good enough for a club striving to improve?
January is always a tricky one for the Premier League big boys. It's not often that the elite players are made available, so perhaps Van Gaal will have to settle on a player like Mane. It certainly looks set to be an interesting couple of weeks for all involved in Manchester.
