Top seed Agnieszka Radwanska won the Shenzhen Open, beating Alison Riske in the final.
The Pole produced a superb performance to win 6-3 6-2 in an hour and 16 minutes, serving nine aces to just two double faults and winning 71 per cent of points on her first serve in addition to breaking three times.
Radwanska told wtatennis.com: "She has a very powerful game from the baseline - I was really struggling from the baseline. I was really in a lot of trouble there.
"But my serve really helped me today. Also in the deciding points I was a little bit better, and I think that's why the score was the way it was - it made it look easier than the actual match was."
Radwanska's run at the tournament has also positioned her as fourth seed for the upcoming Australian Open, above Maria Sharapova in the rankings.
