Most people would be happy if their team had won 5-0, especially if they had contributed two assists during the match. But Cristiano Ronaldo is not most people.
The Portuguese, uncharacteristically, did not find the back of the net against Deprtivo on Saturday night with Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale grabbing the headlines with two and three goals respectively.
It was not without want of trying that Ronaldo failed, however. He had ten shots during the game and even hit the post with a bullet header. But, surely, seeing his team-mates grab the goals would have left him feeling satisfied following the final whistle. Nope.

True to his reputation, Ronaldo seemed completely bemused by his bad luck and was caught on camera looking less than impressed after Benzema rifled home Real Madrid's fifth in stoppage time.
Spanish media have since picked up on the negative body language from the three-time Ballon d'Or winner and are making the most of it. To be fair, it is the kind of behavior that only Ronaldo could possibly get away with.
It is widely known that Ronaldo will be in a bad mood in the dressing room if he has failed to score, regardless of whether Real Madrid have won or not.
On the one hand, that attitude has helped him become one of the world's deadliest goal machines, but, on the other, it has led to plenty of criticism regarding his lack of teamwork.
Either way, at 30-years-old, Ronaldo is unlikely to change his ways. That is the way he has chosen to live and he has done pretty well for himself. Think what you want, but Ronaldo is a one-man team and proud of it.
