There are few certainties in the NFL. A 28-yard field goal attempt to put your team two points up with just 30 seconds left on the clock is about as close as it comes, however.
That was the situation that presented itself to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday in their Wild Card playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks. And that is probably why so many Vikings fans opted to film the moment.

Unfortunately, as we all know by now, Blair Walsh put the FG wide, handing victory to the Seahawks in the process. As a result, those videos now capture the agony of being a sports fan in all its glory. Scroll down to see some of the best reactions to the dramatic moment.

Tough to watch
The combination of shock and outright anger is there for all to see and, maybe it is just us, but there is something strangely compelling about seeing someone's 'celebration selfie' pose transform into a look of pure bemusement.
You have to feel for the Minnesota faithful, all of whom were surely convinced their team would be playing in the divisional round of the playoffs for the first time since 2009.
At least those fans filming from the comforts of their own home hadn't stood for three-and-a-half hours in the freezing cold TCF Bank Stadium to watch Walsh kick away their chances.
As for Seahawks fans, it is fair to say their reaction was slightly more joyful:
