The wrestling world has been in a state of rapture over the past week.
Several top stars in New Japan Pro Wrestling - AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson - have reportedly handed in their notice and will be heading to WWE around the time of the Royal Rumble.
Whilst Styles and Nakamura, the much bigger names, are apparently headed straight to the main roster, there have been rumors that Gallows and Anderson could start off in NXT, with a potential faction forming with one current NXT Superstar. Well, it looks like it's coming true.

The WWE have apparently applied for a trademark for the term 'Balor Club', which has been rumored to be the name of a faction containing the current NXT Champion Finn Balor and his former cohorts in NJPW.
Back when he was still known as Prince Devitt, Balor started the 'Bullet Club' with Anderson. A group of gaijin heels, Bullet Club ran riot over New Japan, being truly hated by the Japanese crowd for their Western-style heel tactics.
Part of the description for the trademark is as follows:
"Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio.."
The formation of a Balor Club is interesting for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it could potentially mean a heel turn for Balor himself, who has been a babyface ever since he stepped into Full Sail.
Also, if they were to team up, Anderson and Gallows could become major players in the NXT Tag division. There's no better way to make a stable important than to put literally the only male titles in the promotion on them.
