France star Paul Pogba decided to turn up to FIFA's Ballon d'Or ceremony in what can only be described as a converted pair of curtains.

Rumoured to later be named in FIFA's official Team of the Year, Pogba's suit proved that money can't necessarily buy a good fashion sense.

Elsewhere, Lionel Messi decided to tone down from his past red and purple attempts, choosing to go traditional. Is this because he knows he's winning the main prize?

Barcelona team mate Neymar chose to go for a 'street swindler' look, topped off with a glorious hat. The Brazilian forward has had a scintillating 2015 and has a solid chance of breaking the Messi-Ronaldo duopoly.

Speaking of which, Cristiano Ronaldo is wearing a similar outfit to his on-pitch Argentine rival. Sometimes, simpler is better.

The Ballon d'Or results are due to be announced at approximately 6:30pm UK time.
