The 29th Annual Royal Rumble is now less than two weeks away and the latest episode of Raw has shed new light on what is to be expected next Sunday night.
Speculation over the last few weeks has suggested that Brock Lesnar could have been one of the 30 men to be a part of The Royal Rumble match, but last night Paul Heyman decided there was a better way for The Beast Incarnate to prove his dominance.
HUGE WRESTLEMANIA MAIN EVENT?
Heyman made the suggestion to Stephanie McMahon and Triple H that instead of Lesnar fighting alongside 29 other superstars for that World Title, he would rather be the one that the winner met at WrestleMania, which would mean that even if Roman Reigns does defy the odds, he has a Beast of a task awaiting him at WrestleMania.

There was a question as to how WWE would continue their build up to WrestleMania without a main event that was announced at the Royal Rumble, but this could add a decent swerve to both Fastlane and WWE's biggest event of the year.
ROMAN VS BROCK 2?
Whilst it hasn't been made official that Brock Lesnar will be facing the winner of the Royal Rumble in Texas, it does bring up more scenarios.

Late last year there were rumors that WWE's creative team wanted Brock to face Roman on the Grandest Stage of them all once again because of the spectacle that the two managed to present back in March last year.
But current speculation would suggest that WWE would prefer to have COO Triple H up against Roman Reigns, especially since the former World Champion hasn't been seen since the beat down he was given back at TLC.
This means that the winner of the Royal Rumble could, in fact, be a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion and WWE could be willing to gamble on a new superstar. Given the ending to this weeks episode of Raw, it is currently unknown if Brock is a face or a heel, which would mean that The Rumble winner could be anyone.
Kevin Owens seems to be the most likely candidate according to the WWE Universe, but the more likely idea could be for WWE to bring in a surprise entrant and allow them one last attempt to main event WrestleMania.
