Guus Hiddink said last night that a draw with West Brom was a fair result - that view apparently wasn’t echoed by Diego Costa, who is said to have punched the tunnel after the match. The enigmatic Spain international put his fist to a perspex panel following the 2-2 result at Stamford Bridge, but Hiddink defended his striker, joking that the dent in the tunnel could be repaired. Apparently Costa was aggrieved that a number of decisions had gone in West Brom’s favour. Now, Costa may have been angry, but it was Pedro who was the subject of criticism from fans. Blues supporters took to Twitter to pan the Spaniard for his ineffectiveness. He was withdrawn at half-time in favour of Kenedy and hasn’t impressed since initially scoring against the Baggies on his debut.
