Cleveland Browns appoint Hue Jackson as new head coach

Published Add your comment

‘Please trust me.’ That’s the message from Hue Jackson, who has been appointed as new head coach of the Cleveland Browns after the franchise fired Mike Pettine. The 50-year-old reportedly turned down the opportunity to talk with the New York Giants before signing the Browns deal, saying that his decision came down to the people. Jackson is the third coach Cleveland owner Jimmy Haslam has hired since buying the franchise in 2012. In other news, the man who has apparently now replaced Tom Coughlin in New York is Ben McAdoo. He supposedly had an interview with the Philadelphia Eagles, forcing the Giants to move fast. Move fast they did, however. This post will be his first as a head coach.
