Liverpool goalkeeper Adam Bogdan has admitted it’s been “the hardest period of his career” in an Instagram post published on his official account on Thursday evening.
The Hungary international dropped a clanger on his Premier League debut against Watford just before Christmas, while he conceded a goal directly from a corner against League Two’s Exeter City in the FA Cup last week.
But Bogdan remains determined to prove his worth at Anfield and has pledged to keep fighting in a spirited post uploaded to Instagram - scroll down this page to see it.

“It's the hardest period of my carreer [sic] but I have to fight!” Bogdan wrote, alongside a selfie of himself in his Liverpool tracksuit top. “Thanks for your support and thank you for being behind me! It means a lot! ✋🏼👏🏼 😊 🔴⚪️“
The majority of the comments from Liverpool fans are supportive, urging Bogdan to keep his head up and continue working hard.
Supportive messages will boost Bogdan
No doubt that support will mean an awful lot to the 28-year-old who has come in for some serious stick from Liverpool fans on Twitter after his blunders over the past few weeks.
Bogdan, however, isn’t the only Liverpool goalkeeper who has endured a difficult season. Simon Mignolet has also found himself in the firing line following a string of errors.
Bogdan could feature against Exeter next week
Jurgen Klopp could give Bogdan a chance to redeem himself when Liverpool go head-to-head with Exeter once again in the FA Cup third round replay on Wednesday night.
A convincing performance in that match and the under-fire Bogdan will feel there is light at the end of the tunnel.
