Stone Cold Steve Austin has said himself countless times that he will not be competing at WrestleMania 32 later this year, but there is one unique superstar he would like to see in the ring at the event.
Speaking on The Ross Report with Jim Ross earlier this week, The Texas Rattlesnake said he would love to see Goldberg in the ring at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on April 3.
He said, according to WrestlingNews.co: "Oh, absolutely bring Bill Goldberg back. I’ve heard some chatter off [of] his Twitter account that he’s looking for a match and maybe that’s just rumor, but man, if there is a guy that deserves a send-off, that is Bill Goldberg.

"He had a hell of a damn run in WCW. He’s a Hall of Fame guy in my opinion, for his impact on the business. He wasn’t around real long, but his impact was felt big time.
“His run in WWE wasn’t all that it could have been, but he came in at a weird time. But bring him back and put him in there with somebody that he can do his thing with, whoever that is, whether they go 2, 3, 10, 15 [minutes], I don’t know, but it would be fun to see Bill back in the ring. It really would for me.”

Many fans would love to see the WCW icon back in a WWE ring. His last match with the company was back at WrestleMania XX in 2004 against Brock Lesnar, so he hasn't been in the WWE for over 10 years. He was actually one of the most recent wrestlers to have won one-on-one against The Beast via pinfall. Triple H and John Cena are the only other two that have done it since Goldberg.
The most likely stage for any Goldberg return would be as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble, which he would receive a huge pop for. The WWE Universe would love to see him issue out some of his iconic Spears and Jackhammers finishers which he made famous during his undefeated streak in WCW.
A way to pay back the WWE Universe could be to have another match with Lesnar at WrestleMania 32. If you remember, WrestleMania XX was both of their last matches before they both parted the company, so it received a negative reaction.
Austin, who was the special guest referee, had to give Stone Cold Stunners to both wrestlers in order to liven up the crowd for the rest of the event.
