Chelsea believe transfer ban will help them land Diego Simeone

Published Add your comment

The waters are no longer as choppy as before Guus Hiddink was appointed manager, but things are far from completely tranquil at Chelsea. One big decision to be made in the future revolves around who will become their next permanent manager - if reports are to be believed Diego Simeone is the man the Blues want. If that is the case, there’s good news for fans, as it’s said Atletico Madrid’s two-transfer window ban could force him closer to said move. Chelsea want him this summer, so watch this space. In the meantime, it’s said Monaco were planning a recall for Radamel Falcao this month before his latest injury setback. The French side wanted him back, in preparation for a sale this summer - they’ve since signed Vagner Love on loan instead.
