Ahead of Sunday afternoon's Premier League clash between Liverpool and United at Anfield, Balotelli sent out a message of support to his parent club telling them to 'destroy' Louis van Gaal's side.
There is history between the forward and Manchester United. He scored two goals in City's 6-1 rout at Old Trafford and infamously revealed the 'Why Always Me?' shirt. He also tweeted "“United…lol” after they were hammered by Leicester City 5-3 last season.

Despite not enjoying the best of times under Brendan Rodgers on Merseyside, his latest tweet is sure to go down well with Liverpool fans.
The mercurial forward wrote: "Good Luck to my ex team mates. Come on Liverpool destroy them today👊🏾."
It has been yet another season to forget for Balotelli. The striker has been limited to four Serie A appearances for AC Milan and has not made an appearance since September.
The forward's future at Liverpool is still up in the air but his time at the San Siro is hardly a marker for an improved stint back at Anfield next season.
Jurgen Klopp is still searching for a prolific striker who fits into his style of play. Christian Benteke's performances have frustrated throughout the campaign and Roberto Firmino has often spearheaded the attack.
Does Balotelli fit the mould Klopp is searching for? Probably not. But while he is still registered on Merseyside anything could happen.
