Diafra Sakho is used to hitting the target.
On Monday night, though, Sakho hit the wall. A garden wall, that is.
The West Ham striker has apologised after crashing his £200,000 car into a garden wall and a woman’s Mini Cooper.

Pictures have emerged of the Senegalese’s wrecked Lamborghini Huracan lodged in a hedge after the incident which occurred in Hornchurch, Essex.
Thankfully, the 26-year-old escaped unhurt. He later posted a selfie on Snapchat accompanied with the message: ‘sorry for the scare guys, im ok, thanks God #life’.
Sakho also informed his Twitter followers of his well-being:
Sakho smashed his Huracan into the Mini of Sophie Engstrom, who posted images of the forward’s ruined Lamborghini. One picture also seems to show Sakho walking away from his car.
Engstrom said on Twitter: ‘Great night when Sakho drives into your house & car.’
Just two weeks ago the former Metz striker posted pictures of the supercar on social media. Now, Sakho will be writing the car off after the mishap.
Though it’s difficult to imagine Sakho replacing it with a safer car.
Sakho, a £3.5 million signing in the summer of 2014, is close to returning from a thigh injury he suffered in November.
He has scored five goals in 14 appearances for the Hammers but hasn’t featured since November 29, when he was forced off against West Brom.
This isn’t the first time the striker has made the news for the wrong reasons. On August 6 he was arrested on suspicion of assault. He was arrested against on August 23 on suspicion of making threats to kill, reported the Guardian.
The football field is clearly the best place for Sakho to be.
