Kell Brook will make the third defence of his IBF welterweight title against mandatory challenger Kevin Bizier in Sheffield on March 26.
The 29-year-old has recovered from the rib injury which forced him out of a prospective fight against Diego Chaves in October.
Brook said: "While I was gutted to miss out on fighting in October, I've fully recovered from the injury and feel stronger than ever.
"I've been working hard in the gym and working on new things, and I cannot wait to put on another explosive performance for my home town fans and prove I am the best 147lb fighter on the planet."
Brook's last fight was a routine sixth-round win over domestic rival Frankie Gavin last May.
Bizier, 31, has won 25 of his 27 fights but suffered a 2014 loss to Romanian Ionut Dan Ion, whom Brook swept aside in four rounds last March.
On the same bill, Olympic champion Luke Campbell will have his first fight since losing his unbeaten record to Yvan Mendy in December.
