Alexandre Pato agrees terms with Chelsea

Published Add your comment

Alexandre Pato is going to sign for Chelsea, it’s just a matter of when. That’s the common consensus doing the rounds today, with it claimed late last night that he had agreed personal terms over a move to Stamford Bridge. The Telegraph say Chelsea want the striker as a replacement for Radamel Falcao, with a three-year contract believed to be on the table. Apparently the 26-year-old is hopeful a transfer can be finalised soon after speaking to some of the Blues Brazilian contingent. Elsewhere, it looks likely that Loic Remy will move on if Pato does arrive. The Frenchman is interested in departing for more game-time anyway, so it’s safe to assume the addition of more competition will push his west London future further into the realms of doubt.
