Borussia Monchengladbach captain Granit Xhaka is a wanted man right now. With the January transfer window ongoing, a number of the Premier League big boys are reportedly interested in the Bundesliga midfielder's signature.
Xhaka, 23, is a full Switzerland international and has even been likened to Manchester United star Bastian Schweinsteiger by former national coach Ottmar Hitzfeld. In fact, the dynamic midfielder has even admitted that he wants to fulfil his dream and play in the Premier League.

"I read the speculation about my future. If a bid comes in we can sit down and talk.
"The rumours don't bother me — in fact I am honoured that clubs are interested and considering to sign me.
"That tells me that I have performed well in recent years. But I am happy with Borussia, and I have a contract until 2019."
Who needs him?
So, then, if the race to sign the Swiss ace really is between Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal in this transfer window, then who needs him most?
It's clear for all to see that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp needs to change the dynamic of his squad sooner rather than later. Ultimately, the Reds are failing to come to prominence under their new manager - they currently sit in ninth position in the Premier League - so the arrival of Xhaka would only improve them at this stage.
Liverpool, of course, have the likes of Jordon Henderson, Emre Can, Lucas and Joe Allen but Klopp could do with improving his side.
Chelsea, much like Liverpool, must also make changes. Under the guidance of Guus Hiddink, the west London outfit are enduring a torrid season. The likes of Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas, who were outstanding last term, haven't been able to produce the goods on a consistent basis recently. They are certainly in need of added competition.
The notion that Premier League leaders Arsenal are weak in the middle of the park may not be entirely correct, however; Arsene Wenger has been busy in this transfer window - midfielder Mohamed Elneny has already arrived - so it would come as a surprise if the north London outfit landed Xhaka.
