Triple H wins Royal Rumble - claims Heavyweight World title

Published 1 Comments

This weekend was Royal Rumble weekend and, as expected, it provided its fair share of shocks. Paramount of those was Triple H, entering the Rumble and throwing out both Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to secure the Heavyweight World title. The Game was the final entrant for Sunday night’s match - his victory has secured a main-event berth at the upcoming WrestleMania 32. Surprised? Downright shocked? Let us know your thoughts in the comments box provided. The Rumble also saw the highly-rated AJ Styles make his WWE debut, with the 38-year-old dismissing Curtis Axel and also having a hand in getting Tyler Breeze out of the ring. He eventually fell to Kevin Owens, who had failed to reclaim the Intercontinental Title earlier that evening.
