Nothing will ever surpass Thierry Henry’s glorious reaction to the news Brendan Rodgers had been sacked by Liverpool - but the Sky Sports pundit produced another comical reaction after hearing Roberto Martinez had described Gareth Barry as “one of the best English players ever”.
When Rodgers was sacked, Henry span around to Carragher and placed his hand on the former Liverpool defender’s knee. It was perfect and led to a variety of funny memes.
On Sunday, Henry found himself sat next to Carragher once more - and after hearing Martinez’s words on Barry, the ex-Arsenal star slightly raised his eyebrows in surprise before turning to his colleague and trying his hardest not to laugh. (Scroll down this page to watch the video).

While Barry has been a good Premier League player - perhaps slightly better than good - to suggest the 34-year-old has been an English all-time great with a straight face was nothing short of absurd.
Only Frank Lampard and Ryan Giggs have made more appearances than Barry in Premier League history, but the midfielder has only won one league title - with Manchester City in 2012.

What was Roberto Martinez talking about?
He achieved nothing of note at international level either, barring three goals and 53 appearances. England fans will remember the moment in the 2010 World Cup finals when he was outsprinted by Germany’s Mesut Ozil despite being given a significant head-start.
Perhaps Martinez was trying to boost the player’s confidence when he said, per BBC Sport, earlier this month: "For me, [Barry] is one of the best English players ever. He could reach 600 Premier League appearances this season."
Best-ever Premier League players, rather than best-ever English players, may have been a little more apt.
