Monday Night Raw this week saw the return of one of its most beloved superstars, The Rock.
The People's Champion returned and had a segment with one of the hottest talents in the WWE right now, The New Day. He then helped put their feud over with The Usos by attacking the current Tag Team Champions.
As always, The Rock returned to a huge pop from the crowd when he was shown arriving backstage, sharing his charisma and banter to the superstars he met along the way including The Miz, The Big Show, Rick Ross, and Lana.

When he arrived in his truck and made his way to the ring, his jokes to the superstars showed us how much of a gap there is between him and the full-time roster when it comes to charisma, but some of his jokes seemed too explicit for the audience WWE is trying to target.
Going up to Lana and implying they had slept together in a hotel room was just cheap and it didn't really add to anything other than to downgrade The Ravishing Russian further than what the WWE is doing on their own. There certainly must have been another way for them to interact.
It's only driving her character further into the ground, which is a shame. Also, how The Usos and The Rock were able to defeat The New Day so easily after they retained the tag titles the night before at the Royal Rumble is undermining. The trio still needs to be shown as a threat otherwise their championship defense feels invalid.
It's good to see The Rock as always, but it felt like he could have done better than making penis jokes. We're probably not going to see him again now until WrestleMania.
