The AFC Championship game this past Sunday between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots was, as everyone expected, an intense affair considering what was at stake.
Still, as the fallout from Denver's 20-18 win continues, it looks like there was a lot of mutual respect out there on the field too.
Yesterday, we heard Peyton Manning's respectful comments to Bill Belichick after the game and it appears he wasn't the only veteran quarterback to express his admiration for one of his opponents.

That's after Broncos running back CJ Anderson posted a message to his official Instagram account today detailing his post-game conversation with Tom Brady:
It is obvious from the message that Anderson has a huge amount of admiration for what Brady has accomplished during his NFL career. Clearly the feeling is mutual between two players who began their NFL careers with few people giving them much chance to succeed.
As things stand, though, Anderson is less than two weeks away from a shot at his first Super Bowl ring. Brady, meanwhile, already has four to his name.
Emerging as Denver's top running back during the 2014 season, Anderson struggled to live up to the hype early in the 2015 campaign.
In recent weeks, however, the 24-year-old has shown up when it matters most. Over the past four games, including two postseason fixtures, Anderson has 312 yards on 55 carries, as well as three touchdowns.
If he can add another impressive performance come February 7 against the Carolina Panthers then he'll be one step closer to emulating one of his biggest fans, Tom Brady.
