Chelsea facing potential transfer embargo

Published Add your comment

Transfer bans - they’ve almost become the bane of European football. We say almost, because they very rarely actually stick, but, all the same, Chelsea could be the next major club to be hit by one. The Blues may face a FIFA investigation over their use of Bertrand Traore in an U18’s game when he was just 16. If they’re found to be in the wrong - they’ve so far professed their innocence - they might face an embargo similar to Real and Atletico Madrid. We know, probably not much to worry about then. Meanwhile, the Blues were also fined for failing to keep control during the clash with West Brom recently. The FA have charged the Blues £65,000 and the Baggies £35,000. Both clubs have also received warnings. Think that’s harsh? You can tweet me @MichaelPanter5 to share thoughts and feelings.
