Despite some obvious friction between the two industries, the WWE and Mixed Martial Arts do share some common ground.
Brock Lesnar, for instance, has made a name for himself in both the WWE ring and UFC Octagon, whilst long-time WWE Superstar CM Punk is currently embarking on his own MMA journey.
Now, though, another former WWE veteran, a certain Kurt Angle, has admitted he too could have an MMA match in the future - listing his potential opponents in the process.

Speaking in an interview with 'The Roman Show', via MMA News, Angle didn't rule out a foray into the MMA world once his run with TNA comes to an end:
"“Of course, I’m not going to fight a guy in their prime,” Angle said when talk of a potential professional fight was mentioned.
“It’s obviously gonna be one of the older guys. But if it does come to fruition, it’ll be a helluva fight, whether it's Kimbo Slice, Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn...or even Royce Gracie," continued the 49-year-old.
Angle, of course, was a dominant force during his WWF/WWE days, winning the top title on five occasions as well as four other belts. His origins, though, are in amateur wrestling where he won a gold medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics.
A switch to MMA could definitely work out, especially with his current commitments to TNA drawing to a close and a WWE return very unlikely due to his checkered past with injury and other issues.
Although, as Angle notes, he would only take it on if he knew he was going up against someone passed their prime.
The question, then, may be whether any of the names listed by Angle would be willing to put their reputations on the line for a one-off fight.
