Ronaldo was envious when Los Blancos attempted to sign Lionel Messi and it seems the three-time Ballon d’Or winner is similarly unimpressed at their attempts to get Neymar.
The Barcelona player, 23, is seen as the perfect replacement for Ronaldo and the Portuguese star is fully aware of this.
Sport claim that Neymar has been offered an incredible €675,000-a-week contract to join the other side of the El Clasico rivalry.
Lack of form
The Neymar speculation isn’t the only thing currently grinding Ronaldo’s gears. The former Manchester United winger is struggling to cope with a lack of form, according to Sport, and this is causing him to lash out at opposing players.
Ronaldo kicked out at Sporting Gijon’s Nacho Cases and Real Betis’s Francisco Molinero in ugly outbursts this month.
Ronaldo is also fuming that Madrid’s £86 million signing of Gareth Bale in 2013 surpassed the value of his move from Manchester United four years prior, according to reports.
Football has never seen a more egotistical player than Ronaldo and he’s fortunate that Madrid value his goals over his self-centred character.
That said, Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is reportedly growing frustrated at Ronaldo’s continued concerns over his future.
Madrid are unlikely to sell Ronaldo in the near future, however. They were recently struck with a transfer ban that forbids them from registering players until the summer of 2017, and will want to keep hold of their best player knowing he cannot be replaced.
