Sheamus' arm injury is tendonitis

Published 1 Comments

WWE's injury list grows even more as Sheamus is the next superstar to become hurt.

It hasn't been a good couple of months for the company when it comes to injuries, as the Irishman becomes the tenth superstar to be added to their current injury list.

We reported yesterday that The Celtic Warrior tweeted out a picture that showed him to have a very serious injury to his left arm, and now more details have been revealed.

According to the Wrestling Observer, the reason Sheamus is wearing a cast is because he has tendonitis in the arm.

The Wrestling Observer also noted that although he isn't expected to be out of action for too long, there isn't a timetable for The Great White's eventual return to the ring.

While he is injured, the Irishman is expected to fill out the same kind of role his fellow League of Nations member King Barrett did, and accompany his teammates down to the ring when they have matches, meaning he will likely still remain on television.

Not much more in terms of details about the injury has been released, but judging by the context of the tweet and the fact it was Sheamus' 38th birthday on January 28, this has led some to speculate the celebrations may have got out of hand.

The Wrestling Observer report also said they are: "awaiting confirmation on another upper level WWE wrestler that might be hurt," so the huge injury problem the company currently has could be continuing much longer to come.
