Former Barcelona goalkeeper and sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta believes Aritz Aduriz, the Athletic Bilbao striker who has scored 25 goals already this season, would be “God” at Manchester United.
Aduriz turns 35 in less than two weeks time but, like a fine wine, appears to be improving with age.
With 13 La Liga goals to his name this season, Aduriz has outscored Lionel Messi and sits just five goals behind Neymar in the race for the Pichichi.

"Aduriz, in a team like Manchester United, would be God,” Zubizarreta was quoted as saying by Catalan newspaper Sport.
The striker scored 26 goals in all competitions last season but is firmly on course to smash that tally this term.
Aduriz to make Spain squad for Euro 2016?
The calls for Vicente del Bosque to include Aduriz in the Spain squad ahead of the European Championships in France are growing - the veteran forward has only been capped on one occasion to date - and there’s not even a remote possibility that Athletic will consider selling their star man before the transfer window closes on Monday.
United need more firepower
It’s true that Manchester United could do with more firepower upfront; Wayne Rooney has blown hot and cold this season, while Anthony Martial is still learning his trade.
Javier Hernandez was sold, James Wilson is out on loan, Will Keane is unlikely to make the grade at Old Trafford and Memphis Depay is better out wide.
United wouldn't sign Aduriz - because of his age
But even if Aduriz was available, his age would count against him.
Manchester United are not about to offer a contract to a 34-year-old from Spain - regardless of his quality.
