Neymar to Real Madrid. When this transfer rumours came about, we here at GiveMeSport thought it had been the brainchild of the creative writers at some dodgy Spanish website (Fichajes), but, luckily for you, we're ready to admit when we're wrong.
Although the Barcelona star insists he is happy in Catalonia, it appears as though there is a genuine interest from Real Madrid. However unlikely it is, the Bernabeu outfit seem determined to at least try at coax him away from the Camp Nou.
Now, the situation is threatening to get out of hand. Even Sergio Ramos, captain of Los Blancos, is being asked about the transfer rumour in interviews. Worse yet, he is responding to the question!

"Neymar is a great player who can make the difference," the defender told Manda Pelotas.
Hardly the buttering up that Real Madrid stars usually partake in when the club want to sign a player, but handing someone from Barcelona a compliment is not something Ramos would do lightly.
That release clause
Madrid's slim chance of signing Neymar has been born out of Barcelona's decision to place a €190m release clause in his contract when he originally signed from Santos in 2013. Now, the Catalan outfit can't afford to offer the Brazilian a new contract and, therefore, can't increase his release clause.
That has given Real Madrid, who are planning on selling Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer, the chance to sign him and make him by far the most expensive player of all time, not to mention the most controversial.
Ramos admits that the unpredictable nature of football means there is always a chance that we will one day see Neymar playing in a white shirt, but there is one thing we can all be sure of.
He continued: "Football is unpredictable and there will always be transfer rumours. But the one thing you will never see is Sergio Ramos joining Barcelona."
