Well, it's safe to say that transfer deadline day just didn't take off. A fair few transfers went through, of course, but there weren't too many high profile deals to get really excited about.

Despite the lack of movement, one man certainly appeared to enjoy himself on transfer deadline day. 

The iconic figure that is Adebayo Akinfenwa delivered one of the more entertaining moments of the day on social media.

Indeed, Akinfenwa, who is currently starring at League Two outfit AFC Wimbledon, revealed exactly what he was doing on deadline day.  

Well, it appears that it involved Nando's and a fair bit of chicken...

You certainly have to respect Akinfenwa as a player and personality in the game. He may well play in England's fourth tier but has built up quite the reputation.

Recognised by many as the strongest man in the game, Akinfenwa really is a powerhouse and deserves a great deal of respect. 

The experienced forward has scored goals all over the place throughout his career - he has featured for the likes of Torquay United, Northampton Town and Swansea City - and is still going strong at AFC Wimbledon.
