Arsenal fans left the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night with a familiar feeling of immense frustration following the side’s 0-0 draw against Southampton.
By failing to secure all three points, the Gunners lost ground on league leaders Leicester City and second-placed Manchester City - and were even leapfrogged by their bitter local rivals Tottenham into third position.
But there was one moment in the match that Arsenal fans inside the Emirates on Tuesday will remember for a while: another glorious first touch from Mesut Ozil.

Alexis Sanchez picked the ball up on the halfway line and momentarily transformed into Andrea Pirlo as he picked up Ozil with a stunning long-range pass.
The Chilean’s pass was matched, in terms of quality, by a beautiful cushioned touch from Ozil. The Germany international never took his eye off the ball and was only denied a Goal of the Month contender by Fraser Forster’s smart save.

Arsenal need to win these type of matches
If Arsenal are to end their long wait for the Premier League title, it’s imperative that they win their home matches - particularly against teams from outside the top six.
The Saints occupy seventh position in the table, but Arsenal had more than enough chances to bag all three points from the match.
Profligacy has often let Arsenal down in these type of matches and it’s a problem Arsene Wenger has still yet to properly rectify.
