Radamel Falcao’s move to Atletico Madrid fell through because his agent doubted the striker would pass a medical.
According to the Daily Telegraph’s Matt Law, super agent Jorge Mendes didn’t take Falcao to Madrid because the Colombian is still unfit, despite the Chelsea man travelling to Spain on Monday.
Falcao has suffered a series of thigh problems since his last appearance in October and had hoped to secure a move back to his former club.

The striker is on loan at Chelsea from Monaco and now the rest of the season looks gloomy for Falcao unless he can secure a move to China.
Mendes, who also includes Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo among his clients, has now left the 29-year-old in limbo.
He is now Chelsea’s fourth-string option following the signing of Alexandre Pato for the remainder of the season.
The failed move is just another chapter in Falcao’s terrible twilight years. In January 2014 the former Porto man suffered a severe ACL injury and has never recovered.
He joined Manchester United but scored just four times in 26 appearances before continuing his spell in England at Chelsea.
But just one goal all season has left Chelsea regretting the signing of the striker.
Age catches up to all players but at 29, Falcao’s demise has begun far too early. Just three years ago he was a £50m-rated striker; today, he’s behind Loic Remy and Pato on Chelsea’s depth chart.
Falcao’s best chance of salvation is a move to China, provided Mendes doesn’t stand in his way again.
