Gary Neville had a night to forget as his Valencia side went down 7-0 to Barcelona in the Copa del Rey.
The former Manchester United defender described the loss as one of the 'worst experiences' of his career to date.
"I am not going to sleep well tonight," said Neville, who has been put in charge of the Mestalla until the end of the season, and was adamant afterwards he would not be quitting the role. "This is one of the worst experiences I've ever gone through in football."
While Neville struggled on the touchline, it was a mixed night for Barcelona superstar Neymar. The forward failed to get on the scoresheet in the one-sided win, missing a penalty on the stroke of half-time with the score at 3-0 after Lionel Messi had been bought down in the box and Valencia had been reduced to 10 men.
The Brazilian, who earlier had appeared in court over tax evasion charges, decided no run up was necessary and remained perfectly stationary, before rattling his shot against the post. The miss means that Neymar has failed to convert four of his eight penalties for Barcelona.
He did at least show some of his fancy footwork in the game however, wowing fans with a delightful flick-touch to send him scampering clear of his marker to tee up yet another Barcelona attack. You can check out videos of both the penalty and Neymar's brilliant skill below.
Barcelona are now all but assured of their place in the final of the Copa del Rey with the win last night, which came thanks to four goals from Luis Suarez and a Messi hat-trick. Either Sevilla or Celta Vigo, who play the first leg of their tie tonight, will be their opponents in the final.
Luis Enrique's side remain well on course to replicate their treble of last season. They're top of La Liga by three points with a game in hand, having beaten title rivals Atletico Madrid 2-1 over the weekend, and will resume their Champions League campaign against Arsenal later this month.
