The Hall of Fame is one of the biggest nights of WWE's calendar year, on the eve of WrestleMania when the current WWE roster is given a chance to celebrate the Superstars that came before them and, in the process, paved the way for the WWE to become the phenomenon that it is.
That being said, Owen Hart has been a name that has been shunned from WWE's induction list for many years and the WWE Universe thought that 2016 was the year he would finally take his place among wrestling's elite.

Martha is said to still be holding a lot of resentment towards WWE because she blames the company for Owen's untimely death in 1999.

She then went on to open the Owen Hart foundation and sued Vince and Linda McMahon once again in 2010 for wrongfully using Owen's name and likeness in numerous WWE DVDs. The judge ruled in her favor and the case was settled in 2013.

Owen Hart was a part of the WWE Universe's lives for many years as part of his professional life and a number of fans considered it to be disrespectful on WWE's behalf to not put Owen in the Hall of Fame sooner.
Now it has been brought to their attention that WWE isn't to blame then it would seem that many would be disappointed that Martha can't see that there are fans who would live to have the chance to be a part of his induction and it seems wrong that she is standing in the way of that.
