Leicester City midfielder Marc Albrighton has insisted that Liverpool striker Christian Benteke 'seems fine'.
As reported by the Mirror, Albrighton, who previously featured alongside Benteke at Aston Villa, has tipped the Belgium international to 'be a big hit for Liverpool'.
Benteke, of course, has endured a torrid time on Merseyside - he has only found the back of the net on six occasions in 21 Premier League games this season - and has failed to hold down a regular role under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp.

More often than not, he has had to make-do with a place on the bench, but Albrighton, who has enjoyed an outstanding season for the Foxes, has tipped his former teammate to prove himself.
The Leicester City man stated: “He seems fine, I think he is enjoying life there. Things may not be going the way he’d want them to be going but he is a great fella and I wish him all the best.
Benteke tipped to prove himself
“I remember him from my time at Villa and the one season he kept us up by himself.
“He is a fantastic player, a proven Premier League player, just because he is not scoring goals I am sure they will come and he will prove to be a big hit for Liverpool.”
Something has to change
There's clearly a problem at Liverpool right now. Reds chief Klopp will be well aware that his side are far from the finished article - they have failed to climb the table since his arrival - and he has to add reinforcements in the summer transfer window.
But where will that leave Benteke? As it stands, Klopp is without Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi and Danny Ings, but there is still no place in his side for the towering Belgian.
Clearly, then, it's not going to get any easier for the ex-Aston Villa man as he goes in search of establishing himself as the Reds' main man. There are no two ways about it, Benteke is just not a Klopp-type player and he probably never will be. It's going to take something very special for him to turn his Liverpool career around.
