Jamie Vardy has been compared to legendary Dutch striker Marco van Basten after his incredible strike against Liverpool.
In the first of his two goals on Tuesday night, Vardy scored arguably the goal of the season, beating goalkeeper Simon Mignolet with a vicious, dipping strike on the angle from 30 yards.
The 29-year-old is currently the Premier League's top goalscorer with 18 and his manager was seemingly in no mood to play down the hype surrounding his striker.

When asked to comment on Vardy's memorable strike manager Claudio Ranieri said: "It's amazing. You can put him with Van Basten."
In a prestigious career with Ajax and AC Milan, Van Basten established himself as one of the deadliest strikers in Europe with his most memorable strike coming on international duty in 1988.
