The Road to WrestleMania is well under way and while the fate of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is still heavily shrouded in mystery, one thing can be guaranteed.

The return of the Undertaker is imminent.

Deadman's return

For many years before 2015, the Undertaker's appearance in the WWE was a pre- WrestleMania exclusive as he would return for one huge match on the grandest stage.

However recent reports have suggested that Cena could be set to return early for a WrestleMania main event?

Despite being ruled out for several months, some recent reports have claimed that he may be able to make a return in time for a duel with the Deadman.

Cena was pictured last week in the gym despite only recently undergoing surgery and with just under two months until WrestleMania, is it really too much to think that Cena could be back in time?

Cena certainly has a history of early returns - most notably in 2008 when he returned as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble and would go on to headline WrestleMania XXIV.

The only person we know that he certainly won't be facing is the Beast incarnate Brock Lesnar who has his final showdown with the Deadman in 2015.

Long list of contenders

When Cena went down hurt, there was a long list of superstars that fans were speculating could be set to take on the Undertaker at WrestleMania 32.

From his brother Kane to Kevin Owens, fans were coming up with some dream match ups, but the most constant name was Wyatt Family member Braun Strowman.

The final plans for the Undertaker may still not be confirmed, but whoever steps into the ring with him at AT&T Stadium will surely be stepping into the biggest match of their career.
