Earlier this year John Cena became the latest Superstar to suffer an injury, suffering the same fate as the likes of Seth Rollins and Cesaro.
Cena suffered a torn rotator cuff and rehabilitation for an injury like this – during which avoiding wrestling completely is a necessity – is said to be around six to nine months which is what WWE fans were expecting to hear once Cena’s injury was revealed.
With WrestleMania 32 right around the corner, Cena wasn’t expected to compete at the historic event with a non-wrestling role looking like the best option to have him associated with the show.

CENA IN DALLAS?
However, that may not be the case according to the Wrestling Observer, via What Culture, who are reporting that Cena could be competing in Dallas this April.
If you follow Cena on his social media accounts then you know he’s always posting videos on his progression, and judging by his videos it looks as if his rehabilitation is going so well that he may be back earlier than expected.

This obviously wouldn’t be the first time Cena returns from a serious injury earlier than scheduled. Fans will always remember his shocking return at the 2008 Royal Rumble as the number 30 entrant, considering he was scheduled to be out for longer.
CENA VS. 'TAKER
If Cena does make a return in time for WrestleMania, then it looks as if the WWE might be reverting to their rumoured original plan of having Cena take on The Undertaker, a match which needs to take place at WrestleMania before The Deadman calls it a day.
The Observer are reporting that the only thing stopping the WWE from triggering this feud is the final word on Cena. If he’s given the green light to compete then we should be ready for a huge clash between two of the biggest stars in WWE history.
WHO SHOULD FACE THE DEADMAN?
It comes as no surprise that we’re seeing a new report regarding The Undertaker’s opponent every single day. One day he’s scheduled to team up with Kane and The Big Show and the next he’s rumoured to be taking on Braun Strowman.
A number of fans have voiced their displeasure at the prospect of watching a very green Strowman taking on The Undertaker, something which could be very dangerous but great for Strowman’s career.
The WWE know what they are doing and they won’t be sweating in regards to The Undertaker. They’ll have their plans in place but it’s clear that a match between Cena and The Undertaker at the biggest WrestleMania ever would be the ideal move, especially when Strowman is the alternative.
