Pep Guardiola wants to turn Manchester City into a European heavyweight by signing three Barcelona stars.
According to the Daily Mail, the future City boss is planning to sign Neymar and Sergio Busquets while the Daily Mirror report that former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is wanted to lead City’s assault on England and Europe.
The trio would cost £200 million, with Neymar breaking the £100m barrier for a player.

Busquets is the less glamorous of the three names but of the trio, he’s perhaps the most sought after. The defensive midfielder became a star under Guardiola during his Barcelona days and was very often the instigator of his devastating tiki-taka system. The 45-year-old even admitted if he was reincarnated as a player, he would want to be Busquets.
Neymar and Busquets’ contracts expire in 2018 and to be a part of the Guardiola revolution would be incredibly enticing to any footballer.
The Mail also add that Neymar, who has faced off-field issues during his time in Spain, is frustrated at playing second fiddle to Lionel Messi. At City, the 24-year-old would be the star of the show even in a team that includes Sergio Aguero and David Silva.
Despite being happy in Spain, where Suarez has scored 36 goals in all competitions this season, Guardiola is optimistic he can snare the £40m-rated striker because the Uruguayan is represented by Pere Guardiola, Pep’s brother.
It would be a sensational raid and one that would outline City’s high aspirations.
The Citizens will no doubt be linked with pretty much every high-profile player this summer. That’s what happens when you appoint the biggest manager in the world.
