Orlando Magic beat Hawks with Vucevic buzzer-beater

Published Add your comment

The Orlando Magic left it verrrry late to beat the Atlanta Hawks 96-94 in Florida yesterday, relying on a buzzer-beater from Nik Vucevic to get the win. The scores were tied at 94 apiece heading into the final second of the game, but Vucevic managed a fantastic turn around shot to hand the Magic their 22nd win of the season. That victory, while not doing much for Orlando’s playoff hopes, means the Magic are now 22 for 28 - the Hawks, meanwhile, sit on 30 for 23. Elsewhere, the Miami Heat were unable to fend off the impressive LA Clippers at the AmericanAirlines Arena. The Clippers surged to their 34th win of the season by putting up 100 points, whilst Miami could only manage 93 in response. Chris Paul led the scoring with 22 points - the Clippers are now 34 for 17.
