Memphis Depay was torn to shreds by Manchester United fans on social media after his poor pass allowed Chelsea to launch a counter-attack and equalise at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Very little has gone right for the Netherlands international since his £25 million move from PSV Eindhoven to Old Trafford last summer but there’s no doubt he possesses huge talent.
This was evident on Monday evening, as the 21-year-old played a starring role in Manchester United Under-21s’ 7-0 demolition of Norwich City at Old Trafford. Louis van Gaal was at the ground watching - and you can see the winger’s best moments by scrolling down this page.

Memphis set up three goals and produced some special moments of individual brilliance, including a couple of mazy dribbles and even a rabona cross.
It was important for the Dutchman to get some minutes under his belt - he entered the fray against Chelsea as an 87th-minute substitute and hasn’t started for the Red Devils since Boxing Day - and Van Gaal will hope the youngster has now regained some much-needed confidence after his eye-catching performance against the Canaries.

Will Keane was the star of the show - hitting five goals in the 7-0 win - while Andreas Pereira and Timothy Fosu-Mensah scored the other two.
Jesse Lingard keeping Memphis out the team
But Memphis has given himself an outside chance of starting against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon.
The difficulty he faces, though, is ousting Jesse Lingard from the starting line-up. The former England Under-21 international, who is two years older than Memphis, has performed well for Van Gaal’s side in recent weeks and scored a brilliant goal against Chelsea at the weekend.
