Daniel Bryan officially retired as a WWE wrestler last night, announcing the decision during an emotional Monday Night Raw show.
In making the announcement, however, and in speaking backstage during last night's Raw, Bryan insisted that fans should try and remember the good times that came during his professional career.

5) John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan — WWE Championship Match (SummerSlam 2013)
This match, his first time main-eventing a pay-per-view singles match, saw Bryan elevate himself from popular mid-card Superstar to bonafide A+ talent.
Taking his role as underdog to a new level, Bryan pulled out all the stops - leaving the Staples Center in awe as he (briefly) got his hands on the Heavyweight title. A true coming-of-age moment.
4) WrestleMania 28 and the fall out Falls match (Extreme Rules 2012)
In Bryan's own words, he and Sheamus "both felt really screwed" when the Celtic Warriors defeated Bryan in just 18-seconds to win the title at 'Mania 28.
The duo put things right at Extreme Rules, however, as they laid it all out in a match that lasted over 20 minutes and encapsulated everything that is great about Bryan - even if he came up on the losing side.
3) WrestleMania 31 Intercontinental Title
Bryan's last few years in the WWE were dogged by injury and misfortune, making his title win at last year's WrestleMania a true highlight.
In a truly exhilarating ladder's match, Bryan was able to cap a return from neck surgery in the best way possible. The crowd's reaction sums it up.
2) Yes! Movement
Not so much a match, as an entire movement that took over the WWE.
The Yes! Movement encapsulated everything Daniel Bryan stood for in the organization as he and the fans connected like few other Superstars before or since have been able to.
Entire events were engulfed by the phenomenon and it ultimately left the WWE with no other option than give Bryan the matches he deserved.
1) WrestleMania 30 win
Winning the WWE Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania is the pinnacle of any wrestler's career and, for Bryan, that's no different.
He had to go through Triple H in New Orleans just to get the shot at the title before fulfilling his destiny against Randy Orton and Batista.
Bryan sums it up perfectly:
“Legitimately everything you’ve ever dreamed of ever since you were a kid."
