Diego Costa is one of the best strikers in the Premier League, so scoring against two amateur ’goalkeepers’ - neither of whom were wearing gloves - always promised to be a fairly straightforward challenge for the Chelsea star.

Once Costa was told he would need to buy the two lads a coffee if they won, it was game on for the 27-year-old.

Asked if he thinks more about strength or the direction of the ball before taking a penalty, Costa replied: “That’s relative; it depends on the size of the goalkeeper. If the goalkeeper is tall and defends penalties well you have to choose a corner and hit hard.”
He then told the two lads he was going to score and did exactly that, blasting a venomous shot in off the underside of the crossbar.
Costa has rediscovered his form under Hiddink
Costa has rediscovered his form since Guus Hiddink replaced Jose Mourinho in December.
The former Atletico Madrid star had only scored three Premier League goals when Mourinho was dismissed, but has now scored six goals in his last eight league appearances.
